We have received a few emails recently from people who can’t search our site. If that’s the case for you I recommend first making sure you are using a supported browser. The browsers we currently support on Windows are, IE 6 and FF 1.5 , on Macintosh we support Apple Safari 1.3 and 2.0 and FF 1.5 . If you are on a supported browser and still having problems check the version of Adobe Flash you are using. On Windows you need 7 , on Macintosh you need 9 . Next thing I’d check is to make sure you don’t have any weird search criteria set. Are you looking for houses between $200,000 and $250,000 and not finding any listings? Or maybe you have the fixer-upper checkbox set? Make sure to widen your search criteria to ensure that’s not the problem. 9 private loan 9 educationpayments day loans 90in uk loan home 90 theloan a work bridgeto a money college loan gohome loans a1 americaninc home loans abccredit bad money personal loan accesstexas access college loanloan consolidation access

Clean Offer
Friday, December 8th, 2006Curbed on CleanOffer, The Data You Want, When You Want It:
We were yakking with a friend- a friend who’s really serious about her real estate- and the subject of information came up. At which point she started raving about Clean Offer, an online “client management” service:
Omigod! It’s what the internet was invented for!
She’s not far off the mark. CleanOffer provides access to the MLS for buyers and sellers, and includes data not available on public MLS sites- principally time on the market, price change percentages, and property status. CleanOffer is available only via “client commitments” meaning you have to have your realtor sign you up.
Zillow will not get in the middle
Thursday, December 7th, 2006Zillow’s Barton on whether they’re getting into the online brokerage space, Zillow Shows More of Its Cards:
Barton continually has to defend himself against fears that he will replace real estate agents the same way he replaced travel agents with his last big startup, Expedia. His reply: since the web ad model has now become viable, Zillow doesn’t have to get in the middle of any transactions. Rather, it is getting into the content business, offering trivia, listings, as well as a new real estate wiki project (also launching today) combining expert and visitor knowledge about all things real estate.
Real estate listings getting flagged
Thursday, December 7th, 2006There’s an interest comment on Craigslist in John Cook’s Zillow post, :
It is high time there is another other choice to market one’s Real Property assets. When I posted at cgraigslist, my competition kept having my posts removed, so that was pure sabotage…at least at zillow, I own my ‘for sale’ post, not my competition or a multiple listing service…
Other sellers can be pretty vicious if they’re flagging down listings!
