Customer love
In the last 72 hours countless real estate bloggers have invested countless hours in tearing us apart on their blogs, over the phone or through e-mail. They do this without having worked directly with us on a deal or without having spoken directly with even one of our customers. In doing so they make, often wildly, incorrect assumptions and accusations about our business. If you believed everything you read online you would believe that I worked for the devil, or possibly, that I was the devil as I’m one of the team who builds the site which empowers customers to look for real estate on their own.
Sadly what the blogosphere doesn’t have access to is the outpouring of support we have received from all around the United States. I’ve responded to hundreds and hundreds of e-mails since Sunday (this is a small fraction of the e-mail we’ve received, the company has received thousands of e-mails.) All of them have been extremely supportive. They come from people who either want to know when we’re coming to their state, whether or not they can invest in our company or whether or not they can open our first office in their home town.
So whenever I read a post or comment on Active Rain or Greg Swann’s blog tearing us apart I just go back to my inbox and respond to five people who are thankful they found out about us even though we can’t yet help them.
